Lets make Tweed a real Scarecrow Town.

Tweed & Area Arts Council is sponsoring its fifth annual
scarecrow competition.
The judging will take place during the week of October 25th – November 1st

We invite all residents, schools and businesses in Tweed to participate in this , the fifth annual scarecrow competition. Entry fee is $2 toward future children’s programming of the Tweed & Area Arts Council. Location for displays will be on Main Street and outside residences in Tweed. Out of towners will be contacted as to display location. A sign must accompany the display and clearly state Scarecrow Competition together with the participant’s name(s).

All scarecrows should be self-supporting and a minimum of 36” tall. Remember that they should be weatherproof. If you want to enter the competition, entry forms can be dropped off at THE FOOD COMPANY on Victoria Street.
