ARTIST'S STATEMENT
My favourite subject is nature, such as wildflower meadows, rocky lakeshores,
snowy winter trails, beaver ponds and autumn landscapes.
I find endless inspiration for paintings in the immediate surroundings, including the
famous Bon Echo Rock in Bon Echo Provincial Park.
When you ask me about my work, I will tell you that I "live in my paintings".
My innate love for the natural surroundings in which I live, is expressed directly and
beautifully in bold palette knife strokes in some cases, and in soft, misty renderings in
others.
To own an Original Ursula Oil Painting will be a lasting, joyful experience.
