Yard Sale results
The T&AAC yard sale netted $891.78! That represents a mortgage payment with some left over. Thank you to everyone involved in making this such a success. Special thanks to Wanita Devries.

1. AN EVENING WITH EUGENE SMITH (Musician,Singer, Songwriter) & guest VICTORIA SLAGER (Choreographer, Dancer)
Friday, July 10 at 8 p.m. Actinolite Hall, Actinolite
Eugene has shared the stage with many famous celebrities including Bo Diddley, John Lee Hooker, Gordon Lightfoot, k.d. Lang. He has toured the States with Ronnie Hawkins.
The show is delivered in Eugene’s humorous, entertaining style which captivates audiences of all ages. Victoria Slager is known for her dance classes in Tweed and the travelling dance troupe We Dance, Nous Danson. We welcome her back to Tweed. Don’t miss this evening!
Tickets at the door -- $15.00 but, if you’re a
T&AAC member, they’re only $10.00.

2. “Art in the Park” – August 15-16, 2009
In partnership with THE KIWANIS CLUB OF TWEED
Show time is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
Entry will be on a first-come-first served basis so please register promptly. Application forms and more information are available from Audrey Ross at 478-3591 or e-mail Jack Vance atjack.vance@sympatico.ca .
Cost is $30.00 for participants [or $25.00 for T&AAC members].
Free admission for viewers and purchasers. Everyone welcome! There will be special programmes for children and seniors.

ATTENTION THEATRE ENTHUSIASTS!

THEATRE ONTARIO is offering the following events this summer:
June 27 – 30, 2009 – NEW Youth Theatre Training Course – to be held at the LOOP CENTRE in Toronto (Christie Street and St. Clair Avenue).
Cost is $250.00 per participant.
August 10 – 14, 2009 – Summer Theatre Intensive for Adults – to be held at Trent University, Peterborough.
Cost is $700.00 per person which includes choice of course, accommodation, meals and attendance at a selected performance at 4th Line Theatre (transportation included).
August 27-21, 2009 – By George! A Theatre Immersion!
-- to be held at the Shaw Festival, Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Cost is $1,250 which includes 5 nights’ accommodation, 5 breakfasts, 4 lunches, all theatre tickets, instruction and taxes. Dinners are not included.
