The Jack Vance Golf Classic is an annual golf tournament hosted by the Tweed & Area Arts Council named to honour an individual who has devoted so much time and effort to this new organization.

And finally, the Tweed & Area Arts Council would also like to extend a very special thank you to Jack, Rita and Ken Gorman at the Poplars Golf Course for providing such a wonderful all-round facility and an excellent dinner. Their support of the community and our organization is very much appreciated. Even if you’re not a golfer, the steak dinner was worth the attendance.
