'Art in the Park 2008' was a successful weekend. Here are a some highlights and a few shots from that year.

Art in the Park 2008 held on the weekend of August 16 and 17 in the Memorial Park was another huge success. Although this summer has become known for its rainfall, the weekend chosen turned out to be two beautiful days. The event was well attended by both participants and visitors.

TAAC Headquarters for the day

The Tweed & Area Arts Council was represented by a booth where information on the organization was available, including memberships and T-shirts for sale.

It also sponsored a youth program whereby children were encouraged to use their creativity and produce a painting. These paintings were then displayed prominently for all to see.

Many Fine Works of Art	TAAC would like to thank the Kiwanis for co-hosting this community event. Once again, it shows how cooperation can produce great results. Thank you also for all those who attended and supported twenty four of our local artists.
