THE TWEED & AREA ARTS COUNCIL

is hosting
“ART IN THE PARK”

AUGUST 13 - 14, 2011

AND WE WELCOME YOUR PARTICIPATION

Dear Exhibitor:

The following information is for anyone registering for the Tweed & Area Arts Council's “Art in the Park” weekend. This information is provided to help make the weekend go as smoothly as possible.

1. You are asked to arrive at 8:30 a.m., not before, to set up your display. Upon arrival please find Maril Swan who will direct you to the area where you may set up. Please do not arrive earlier and set up before talking with Maril or Al.

2. As we have limited parking we are requesting that after you have set up that you then move your vehicle over to the exhibitors' parking area. To get to that area you exit the park turn north (right) on Hwy. 37, proceed to the next street (River Street), turn east (right) and go down to the boat launch area (just past the soccer field). There you will find lots of parking. It is a very short walk back through the park to the exhibitors' area. Please refer to map.

3. Those displaying art work on the fencing provided have a 10' area to do so.

4. At the end of the day those who wish to do so may store their work in the Pavilion, which will be locked after 5:00 p.m. Anything left in the pavilion is at your own risk.

5. The local weekly farmers' market will be at the park Saturday morning till 1:00 p.m. Music in the Park will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

6. Commissions for sales will be collected from vendors before they leave the park each day. Receipts for commissions will be issued for each payment.

We hope that your weekend will be enjoyable and profitable. Thank you again for attending Art in the Park.

Sincerely,

Al McNeil, Kiwanis Club of Tweed Maril Swan, Art in the Park
